Sunday-Monday-Games provided a mini-game-concept for the app “Liebesbote”. It is a small casual app, aimed to send “love” to your darling – suited to days like Valentines Day or other occations. Besides a video of the German band “Leerlauf” a small mini-game is included. This game is pretty simple. You press a heart to increase a counter. This is the heart-counter – the more you press, the higher the heart-score gets. For sure, higher scores express more love for your loved one! So get into the game an send more hearts than for example your friend does for his or her partner! The app “Liebesbote” is available on the AppStore.

Sunday-Monday-Games hat das Spiel-Konzept für die App “Liebesbote” beigesteuert. Die App ist eine kleine App, mit der man einen Liebesbeweis an seinen Partner schicken kann – für Tage wie den Valentinstag oder andere Gelegenheiten. Neben einem Videoclip der Augsburger Band “Leerlauf” ist ein keines Spiel mit an Bord. Das Spiel ist recht einfach: Um den ultimativen Liebesbeweis anzutreten gilt es, viele Herzen an seine Liebe zu schicken. Je mehr mehr Herzen, desto mehr Liebe! Natürlich möchte man selbst den HiScore knacken und an seinen Partner mehr Herzen schicken, als zum Beispiel Freunde oder Freundinnen. Vor allem, wenn am diese App am Stammtisch die Runde macht. While I was at the CityHero-team Sunday-Monday was responsible for the distribution of the app. Here are the first successes, that go beyond some tiny posts in small blogs or re-tweets.

1. CityHero app will be shown on the exhibition “Car Culture. Media of Mobility” at the well-known ZKM-media-museum in Karlsruhe. The exhibition is open from 17. June 2011 – 8. January 2012. There is a panel and a hands-on. People can give CityHero a vote for the audience award.
2. CityHero app was mentioned at the EA-Spielkulturblog. It is a blogpost about the topic of Gamification. CityHero is shown as an example of “how Gamification will apply now and in the near future“. The EA-(Electronic Arts)-Spielekulturblog is an important media in Germany, that reflects positions in current debates around gaming-culture, media and politics.
3. Kids online-community Netzcheckers reported about CityHero. Netzcheckers is one of the bigger portals for kids in Germany, that run by educators at the “IJAB – Fachstelle für Internationale Jugendarbeit der Bundesrepublik Deutschland e.V.” and has a kids-community under the hood, that unfortunately closed its activity on the 30. June 2011.

An Bord der CityHero-crew war Sunday-Monday zuständig für Vertrieb- und Pressearbeit. Hier sind einige der ersten Erfolge, die sich seit dieser Zeit eingestellt haben.

1. CityHero wird bei der Ausstellung “Car Culture. Medien der Mobilität” bei dem bekannten und etablierten ZKM-Medienmuseum in Karlsruhe zu sehen sein. Die Ausstellung öffnet am 17. Juli 2011 und geht bis zum 8. Januar 2012. Es wird ein Panel und iPhones mit “Hands-on” geben. Im Rahmen des “ZKM-App-Award” kann man vor Ort für CityHero eine Stimme für den Publikumspreis abgeben. Die App hat somit noch die Chance, einen Award zu gewinnen. Daumen drücken!!
2. CityHero wurde in einem Artikel des Blogs EA-Spielkultur von Electronic Arts Deutschland erwähnt. Das Thema des Blogpost ist “Gamification“. CityHero wird als aktuelles Beispiel erwähnt, “wie Gamification jetzt und in Zukunft aussehen wird“. Der EA-Spielekulturblog ist ein wichtiger Beitrag zur Debatte um Spielkultur und auch zu politischen Diskussionen rund um Medienpolitik und Jugendschutz.
3. Die Online-Community Netzcheckers ist eine Community für Kinder und Jugendliche, welche sich für Netzthemen interessieren. Im News-Bereich wurde über CityHero berichtet. Netzcheckers ist eines der größeren Jugendportale im deutschsprachigen Internet, welche von Fachpädagogen der “IJAB – Fachstelle für Internationale Jugendarbeit der Bundesrepublik Deutschland e.V.” betrieben wird. Leider hat die Community zum 30. Juni 2011 den Betrieb eingestellt.
